Death Wish For The Imposter

from Mass Exodus by HUMANWINE

about

There are people/companies who create ART because they must, there are also people/companies who recreate ART that has been made in the hopes that it will make them famous.
They are relentlessly glitzy and end up paying so much out of pocket for self advertising that they often go in debt and feel lonely and kicked to the curb, be sure though, they will rise again in a false sense of self entitlement and ask yet again for your money to get them another advert.

lyrics

Wicked Masters tall and small they pause for none but greed
walking paths they think will lead to gold but end in need
for time won't let you be
death is life's disease

Forgot simple life my leech you live from what we bleed
eat up
sell out
lies as art
gluttonous you beast
I curse your thoughtless being
and plead for it's requiem

There are no stars at all for us
the sky is filled with some and dust
the soul less art you vomit forth so others crowd you
Go on drink from that wicked cup
you made your choice
eat it up
while others starve you won't complain unless it sell you

The Star you have paid to be
will fall lightless to it's knees
a re-run of cross road talk
Snake oil salesman charlatan!

Wicked Masters tall and small they pause for none but greed
walking paths they think will lead to gold but end in need
for time won't let you be
death is life's disease

about

HUMANWINE

"HUMANWINE is music that dances between raindrops, sending up green shoots between the broken cobblestones of folk, punk, and open revolt. It is a soundtrack to broken rules and mutant genres, evoking a world that skips over the Age of Oil and all its cruelties, stitching together a patchwork of past and future, a do-it-yourself apocalypse that is strangely utopian."
